SUMMARY:Williamsburg Artist Group Art Show
DESCRIPTION:The Williamsburg Artists Group will hold its Fall 2021 art sale in Bruton Parish House in Colonial Williamsburg\, a new venue for this up-and-coming organization of local artists and artisans. \nThe event\, to be held on Friday\, Oct. 15\, from 4-7 p.m.; and Saturday\, Oct. 16\, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.\, will feature the work of 20 emerging and professional artists.   \n10% of all sales will be donated to the Heritage Humane Society.  \nWAG was established in 2018 as an independent artist organization – a type of “mobile art gallery.” This enables artists to connect with each other to exhibit and sell their artwork one-on-one to consumers\, without going through a traditional brick-and-mortar gallery. At this time\, an exhibit/sale is held once a year in a local venue.  The founding members are Tom Zuk\, Karen Hacker\, Laurie Rokutani\, Kay Krapfl\, and Bob Carlson.  New members are juried into WAG by the leadership team to ensure the quality of artwork is consistent with the group. \nBruton Parish House is located at 331 Duke of Gloucester St.  WAG can be contacted at Wbgartistsgroup.wag@gmail.com.  The Facebook page\, which showcases artists’ work\, is HERE
