DESCRIPTION:Calling all animal lovers! The 3rd annual FURever Homes 8k\, 5k\, and Pet Run is coming up! Join us on Saturday\, June 11\, 2022 at Jamestown High School in Williamsburg\, VA for a PAW-some event to support local homeless pets in need. This event is for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. There will be an 8k\, 5k\, and 1-mile run/walk. All proceeds will benefit Heritage Humane Society.\nDon’t feel like running a 8k or 5k? Sign up for the 1-mile Fun Run (and Pet Run). This event is untimed and you can participate with your dog(s)! The course starts and ends at Jamestown High School in Williamsburg\, VA. The course will include sections of Greensprings Trail and the Capital Trail.\nWe are also offering a VIRTUAL option for people. Enter our Hello Summer Pet Photo Contest! \nSubmissions open at 7 AM on June 27 and close at 5 PM on July 18. \nPhoto submissions are $3/per photo. You can also vote on your favorite photo(s) for $1/vote. Mini prizes will be awarded to the top-voted photo each Friday at 5 PM!
