DESCRIPTION:The Heritage Humane Society Auxiliary has been a vital part of the Heritage Humane Society for over 25 years. As a standing committee of the HHS\, this group continually seeks to develop and present numerous and varied fundraising events to support the shelter while creating community awareness and education about all HHS services.\nThis dedicated group sponsors numerous fundraising events every year with all proceeds helping fund operating expenses of the shelter. The Auxiliary also supports many other initiatives such as the donation canisters around town\, antique mall booth\, as well as projects sponsored by Heritage Humane Society\, like yard sales\, bake sales\, community events\, and more.\nThe Auxiliary has meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:15 am. The April meeting will be at King of Glory Lutheran Church. SUMMARY:Monthly Auxiliary Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Heritage Humane Society Auxiliary has been a vital part of the Heritage Humane Society for over 25 years. As a standing committee of the HHS\, this group continually seeks to develop and present numerous and varied fundraising events to support the shelter while creating community awareness and education about all HHS services.\nThis dedicated group sponsors numerous fundraising events every year with all proceeds helping fund operating expenses of the shelter. The Auxiliary also supports many other initiatives such as the donation canisters around town\, antique mall booth\, as well as projects sponsored by Heritage Humane Society\, like yard sales\, bake sales\, community events\, and more.\nThe Auxiliary has meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:15 am. The meetings are held in the classroom at Heritage Humane Society. DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Heritage Humane Society’s classroom on Saturday\, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. for an hour-long beginner-friendly gentle yoga practice. It will be a donation-based yoga class to benefit the homeless pets at the shelter. This is a gentle yoga class accessible to yogis of all levels and beginner-friendly\, modifications will be offered to meet the needs of all personal practices. Join us with your yoga mat and be ready to breathe\, move\, have fun\, and meet some adorable\, adoptable kittens!\nYou must pre-register online to secure your spot. It is a $20 donation per person. 100% of the donations benefit the homeless pets at HHS.\n \n

We will be playing a kids’ movie in our HHS Classroom. It is $20 per kid and includes a pet-themed educational activity\, a movie\, popcorn\, and pizza. Kids will also get a chance to meet some adoptable pets from HHS. Open to all children ages 6 – 12 years old. Enjoy an evening out while your kid(s) enjoy a fun movie night with us! Pajamas are welcome\, but not required. We encourage the kids to bring their favorite blankets and pillow with them and a refillable water bottle.\n100% of the proceeds benefit the homeless pets at HHS. Spots are limited\, so sign up today!\nSign Up Online:\nTo reserve your kid’s spot\, register online. Registration is $20 per person. Submit your pet’s photo to The Heritage Humane Society’s 2025 Hello Summer Pet Photo Contest and get the most votes to win a featured spot in the 2026 Hello Summer Pet Photo Contest Calendar! From May 19 to June 16\, pet lovers have the chance to showcase their beloved companions in a competition that helps homeless pets in need.\nThe top 13 photos with the most votes when the contest ends on June 16 will enjoy a complimentary photo session with Sweet Ellie Photography. The 1st place winner will be the cover of the calendar. The 2nd – 13th place winners will each receive a month in the calendar. Each vote is only $1 (required minimum of 5 votes) and 100% of the proceeds benefit the sheltered animals at The Heritage Humane Society.\nEntries and voting open at 7 AM on Monday\, May 19\, and close at 5 PM on Monday\, June 16. Mini prizes will be awarded at 5 PM each Friday during the contest to the top voted pet. You can only win one mini prize. If the same pet is the top voted winner for more than one week\, the mini prize will go to the next highest voted pet.\nAll entrants will receive information on the 2026 Hello Summer Pet Photo Contest Calendar after the photo sessions are completed and the calendar is created.\n \n\n\nEnter Your Pet & Vote Here (Starting May 19)!
