Let’s pawty for a purpose at the first-ever Black Ties & Tails Gala! Dine, drink, dance, and mingle with fellow animal lovers at Colonial Heritage (6500 Arthur Hills Dr.) on Saturday, February 15th. Guests will enjoy a plated dinner, open bar thanks to our Fetch the Flask Sponsor Noah’s Ark Veterinary Hospital, exciting raffles, a Good Shot Judy concert, and much more! If you are a major sponsor or purchase a Cat’s Meow or Top Dog table, enjoy a VIP champagne reception with hors d’oeuvres before the rest of the guests arrive, along with other fun surprises for everyone at your table.

This gala is not just an event, it’s a celebration of compassion, community, and commitment to helping local homeless pets in need at The Heritage Humane Society. 

The VIP reception starts at 5:00 p.m. The ballroom opens at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Must be 21 years or older to attend. We kindly ask you to leave your pets at home for this event.

Gala Schedule:

• 4:45 p.m. – Registration opens for VIP’s

• 4:45 p.m. – Raffle/silent auction room opens

• 5 – 6 p.m. – VIP Champagne Reception with a special performance by Good Shot Judy

• 5:45 p.m. – General registration opens

• 6 p.m. – Doors open to the ballroom

• 6:30 p.m. – Dinner is served

• 7:30 p.m. – Video and special presentation from Executive Director, Kimberly Laska

• 8:00 p.m. – Good Shot Judy performance

• 8:45 p.m. – Silent auction closes

Menu:

• First Course: Spinach salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, and walnuts

• Second Course: 4 oz. petite filet mignon with crab stuffed shrimp topped with hollandaise and cracked black pepper (gluten-free). Served with broccolini and oven roasted trio potatoes (gluten-free and dairy-free)

• Third Course: Flourless chocolate torte with raspberry coulis (gluten-free)

• Vegan/Vegetarian Option: Herbed risotto topped with mushrooms and charred broccolini (gluten-free and dairy-free).
