Kimberly joined Heritage Humane Society as the Executive Director in 2012. While adopting her cat Cherokee, she fell in love with the program, it’s dedicated staff, volunteers, and mission to bring positive outcomes to the neediest and voiceless population in a community that she loved.

Kimberly brought with her business, marketing, fundraising, education, and outreach experience gained through her roles at Avalon: A Center for Women and Children, Busch Gardens (for nearly a decade), American Red Cross of Greater Miami and the Keys among several other rewarding professional roles. She believes that every job experience led her “home” to her position with Heritage Humane Society.

Kimberly’s family grew by one furbaby in 2016, when she met her dog Lexi, the missing piece of her life.
