Dental health is a vital part of an animals veterinary regimen. Lizzie came to our shelter with some serious dental disease. It was causing her a lot of pain and discomfort, resulting in her not wanting to eat. She was very underweight and needed immediate medical attention. She ended up needing dental surgery where all of her teeth had to be extracted. After weeks of careful post-surgery care and TLC, Lizzie is doing MUCH better. She has her meow back and her sweet and gentle personality is on full display when our staff and volunteers socialize with her.
She is now hoping an adopter will come in and take her to her new home. She has adapted well to her toothlessness. Other than being on a special diet, she is like any other kitty! She loves to be petted long her ears and she has the sweetest purr around. She also does well with other mellow cats. She would prefer a mellow household. Give Miss Lizzie a chance and schedule an appointment to meet her today.
