Fido Fest

Join us at the 2019 Fido Fest

Don’t miss the PAW-TY! Join us on Saturday, March 16, 10 AM – 2 PM at Jamestown Beach Event Park for Fido Fest, a family festival featuring dog-friendly activities, games, and contests.* Food ($), merchandise ($) and community vendors will also be onsite.

All dogs attending Fido Fest must be on a leash no more than 8′ long. No retractable leashes. Dogs must be current on vaccines. Admission is $5 per car, cash or check only.

Co-hosted by Heritage Humane Society and James City County Parks & Recreation

Featured contests include:
• Fido Fashion Show – prizes for best overall, best couple, funniest and most creative
• Best Trick Contest – two minute max. time limit
• Dog Photo Contest – prizes for best smile, best costume, best overall, precious pup (age 2 and under) and precious pup (age 3+). To enter the photo contest, email a high-resolution photo of your dog to [email protected] by March 13. Be sure to mention your dog’s name & age in your email – guests will vote during the festival.
