Animal Aces
Official Heritage Humane Society Kids’ Club
The Animal Aces gives young people a unique opportunity to advocate for animals in their own community. This may be their first volunteering experience and hopefully fosters a lifetime of giving back and helping others. Projects may include making enrichment for the adoptable animals, assisting in our kibble kitchen, handing out treats to the animals, and learning about pet behavior and how to care for a variety of pets.
Our Aces will develop a sense of accomplishment when they see the results of their hard work and the satisfaction of knowing they are making a difference.

Upcoming Kids Club Meetings
All meetings will be from 2 – 4 PM in the HHS classroom.
For the March 16 meeting, we will be learning about the HHS foster program, specifically kitten fostering. Each year, HHS takes in over 400 kittens! There is a lot involved in getting these furballs ready for adoption. The HHS Pathways Manager, Tracy Magro, will be leading a discussion about raising and fostering kittens. The Kids Club members will also have the opportunity to make some items to send home with kitten foster families.
