Calling all animal lovers! The 7th annual FURever Homes Race is on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Jamestown High School. This Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix event welcomes all ages and levels of runners and walkers. There will be paw-some community vendors, music, food, raffles, and more! Leashed dogs are welcome at the event and can participate with their humans in the 5k and 1-mile Fun Run.

All proceeds benefit the homeless pets at The Heritage Humane Society, helping grant second chances and hope for animals in need. Don’t miss out on the fun and register online today – Early Bird registration is available through May 18!

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for the sixth annual FURever Homes Race on Saturday, June 13, 2026!  Whether you walked, ran, volunteered, or cheered from afar, your support helped raise vital funds for the lifesaving programs and services at the Heritage Humane Society.

It was an incredible sight to see over 350 participants — both in person and virtually — coming together with their canine companions for this Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix event, all in support of our homeless pets.
