Kittens:

Did you know, because a cat can have on average 4 – 8 kittens and a cat can get pregnant several times a year, the cat population gets bigger at a faster rate than the dog population? CLICK HERE to download our Kitten Wish List and help us be prepared for the many orphaned kittens, pregnant cats, and nursing cats with kittens that come to our doors needing help.

 

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

No, we are currently not accepting opened bags of pet food
No, we cannot accept household items or yard sale items at this time
At this time, we are not accepting newspaper
Yes, we accept gently used pet supplies (leashes, collars, bowls, etc)
Yes, we accept gently used towels, blankets, pet beds, and sheets
Yes, we accept pet carriers and crates
If you would like a tax receipt for your donation, please visit during our normal business hours and an HHS staff member can assist you 

 

Instructions for Donation Delivery:

Donations can be dropped off at our facility 7 days a week, during regular business hours (8:30 am – 4:30 pm). We are located at 430 Waller Mill Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185.

    Surrender Hours
    • Please call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your surrender appointment (757-221-0150 ext.0). Our surrender hours are from 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., by appointment only. Stray animals do not require an appointment, but when possible please call ahead.
