Training:

Tuesday through Saturday 9:00AM -9:30AM  (PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

Hours of Service

8:00AM to Noon (hours available seven days a week and some holidays)

Attire:
Closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes are best) and appropriate fitting clothing (no undergarments or bare skin showing)

Court Ordered · Pre-Court  · Court Fines ·  University or School Infraction · Housing Authority

Must be 18 years of age · No animal charges accepted

Surrender Hours
  • Please call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your surrender appointment (757-221-0150). Stray animals do not require an appointment.

Our Mission: Heritage Humane Society serves as compassionate stewards of homeless pets that are in transition from stray/surrender to forever homes. We serve to educate the public about humane animal care and treatment, advocate animal welfare, and provide affordable adoption and spay/neuter services.
