When Community Comes Together, Extraordinary Things Happen.
The energy at the Black Tie & Tails Gala is electric! From the VIP reception to the spirited auction and dancing, it’s a celebration of **a community united in its commitment to homeless pets.**
Days before the 2026 Gala, a plumbing emergency forced us to relocate 200 shelter pets while continuing to care for incoming strays. Then our HVAC system failed.
Our community rallied, lifting our spirits and helping us through the crisis. Dan and Micki Chapin’s $300,000 matching gift challenge brought renewed hope and the opportunity to help even more animals.
We’re proud to call Greater Williamsburg home, where compassion becomes action and generosity creates local solutions.
Can’t Make It? Your Support is Still Possible!
Even if you have to miss the 2027 Black Tie & Tails Gala, you can still make a difference! Your gift helps provide shelter, medical care, and second chances for homeless pets throughout our community.
