Donor Database & Administrative Coordinator (Full-time with benefits)
POSITION SUMMARY: The Donor Database & Administrative Coordinator supports the Heritage Humane Society’s fundraising, donor stewardship, financial-recording, and administrative functions. This position is responsible for accurately processing and acknowledging charitable contributions, maintaining complete donor records, coordinating recurring and specialized gifts, managing several donor-recognition programs, and providing administrative support to the Executive team.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial and confidential information, and committed to providing donors and community partners with timely, thoughtful, and professional service.

Animal Care Technician (ACT) (Full-time with benefits)
POSITION SUMMARY: The ACT is responsible for working alongside the Animal Care Attendants and volunteers during the daily cleaning, feeding, walking and enrichment tasks as well as assisting with the daily assignments for the team members. The ACT is expected to assist with providing detailed training on proper cleaning protocols and practices to volunteers and community service workers. Mentors and trains new staff members.
Maintaining a clean facility while providing daily care and sanitation for sheltered companion animals at The Heritage Humane Society is a must. Role-modeling excellent animal care for staff members and volunteers as well as making sound decisions is a critical function of the ACT. Great customer service skills in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, professional attitude with a focus on teamwork is expected of all employees. The perfect candidate will be cross-trained and willing/able to work with dogs, cats, and small critters and be able to assist with a variety of other duties as needed.

Events & Community Engagement Manager (Full-time with benefits)
POSITION SUMMARY: The Events & Community Engagement Manager is responsible for planning and executing Heritage Humane Society’s signature fundraising events and community engagement initiatives that inspire generosity, strengthen community partnerships, and advance the organization’s mission.
Working in close partnership with the Executive Director, the organization’s chief fundraiser, this hands-on position leads the coordination of events, sponsorships, fundraising campaigns, volunteer committees, and community partnerships that generate philanthropic support and deepen engagement with HHS. Serving as the primary staff lead for event planning and execution, the Manager collaborates across departments and with volunteers to deliver exceptional experiences that build lasting relationships and help sustain the lifesaving work of the Society.
