Join us at the annual Paws in the Air on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Legacy Hall This evening of fun will feature rockin’ good music by the band Identity Crisis, food, beer, wine, raffles, community vendors, adoptable dogs, and so much more. All proceeds from this event benefitted the McDuff Endowment Fund which provides a safety net for the medical needs of homeless pets at The Heritage Humane Society.

McDuff Beer:

Back by popular demand! The Virginia Beer Co. will be brewing McDuff Beer again! This limited-release cream ale style is a mild, easy-drinking, lager-like recipe. Glowing golden, this light-bodied brew has a touch of flaked corn added for a creamy, mildly sweet, clean finish.

McDuff Endowment Fund:

The McDuff Endowment Fund is a restricted fund that provides a safety net for the medical needs of homeless pets at The Heritage Humane Society. By making a gift to the McDuff Fund, you’re ensuring that the lifesaving mission of Greater Williamsburg’s largest shelter continues for many years to come.

Pets At The Event:

Leashed pets are welcome to attend the event, but cannot come inside Legacy Hall. Pets are only allowed in Sullivan Square. All dogs attending must be up to date on their vaccinations and leashed at all times.
