FIDO FEST

Location: Jamestown Beach Event Park

Don’t miss the PAW-TY! Join us on Saturday, March 21, 10 AM – 2 PM at Jamestown Beach Event Park for Fido Fest, a family festival featuring dog-friendly activities, games, and contests.* Food ($), merchandise ($) and community vendors will also be onsite.

Heritage Humane Society will have an information table and adoptable dogs at the event. The Heritage Humane Society Auxiliary will also be having a bake sale at Fido Fest. The wonderfully dedicated Auxiliary members will be baking and selling both human treats and dog treats.  Please visit the bake sale table to purchase a yummy treat and to learn more about what the Auxiliary does for Heritage Humane Society. All proceeds from the bake sale benefit the homeless pets.

All dogs attending Fido Fest must be on a leash no more than 8′ long. No retractable leashes. Dogs must be current on vaccines. Admission is $5 per car, cash or check only.

Featured contests include:
• Fido Fashion Show – prizes for best overall, best couple, funniest and most creative
• Best Trick Contest – two minute max. time limit
• Dog Photo Contest – prizes for best smile, best costume, best overall, precious pup (age 2 and under) and precious pup (age 3+). To enter the photo contest, email a high-resolution photo of your dog to [email protected] by March 20. Be sure to mention your dog’s name & age in your email – guests will vote during the festival.
