We are full, full, full of amazing adoptable dogs. Meaning, not only is every kennel on our adoption floor being utilized but all the back holding areas are also full. Dogs are even being housed in pop-up kennels and offices at the shelter. And more homeless pets are coming in daily.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry best friend to your house, now’s the perfect time! Now through July 23 when you adopt a dog* from The Heritage Humane Society, you’ll receive 50% OFF the dog’s adoption fee. We have SO many deserving dogs that can’t wait to go home with YOU! Our pet viewing and adoption hours are 12 – 4:30 PM, Tuesday – Sunday. Please note all adoptions are facilitated on a first come, first serve basis.
