About the Kibble Kitchen

The Kibble Kitchen works to keep pets with their families and out of the shelter by providing food, litter, and other pet supplies to families in need. Our Kibble Kitchen is open and available to assist our community during these difficult times. For the safety of everyone, we’ve implemented new procedures that will help us continue to provide pet supplies to people needing assistance.

Hours of Operation

If this is your first time utilizing our Kibble Kitchen service, please fill out the Kibble Kitchen Questionnaire.

For people who have utilized our Kibble Kitchen before – We are doing an appointment-only food distribution system. Please call the Front Desk Team at 757-221-0150 ext:0 between 8 AM – 4 PM or email us at [email protected]. Please do not come to the shelter without first speaking to a staff member and setting up an appointment. This is for the safety of our staff. Due to the increased number of phone calls we are receiving, please leave a detailed voicemail with your contact information if you do not reach a staff member when you call.

What We Need

Our Kibble Kitchen relies on donations from our community.

If you are able to help others, please consider donating unopened pet food only to the shelter. Supply donations can be dropped off between 8 AM – 4 PM daily. Please ring the doorbell at the front of the shelter when you arrive so that a staff member can assist you.
