Diana Krell
As Director of Programs for The Heritage Humane Society, Diana brings more than 20 years of animal welfare experience to the day-to-day operations of The Heritage Humane Society Adoption Center, handling as many as 1,800 homeless pets annually. Additionally, she oversees the Kibble Kitchen, a food assistance outreach designed to keep pets with their families and out of the shelter. For families facing financial strain, additional services such as low-cost spay/neuter surgery and vaccines are also provided.
Prior to joining the Heritage Humane Society in 2010, Diana served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Chesapeake Humane Society and worked as the Volunteer Coordinator and the Humane Education Lead at the Norfolk SPCA. She holds certifications in Swift Water Rescue, Disaster Training, Community Emergency Response Team, Large Animal Tactical Rescue, and Pet CPR/First Aid.
Diana lives in Williamsburg with her 3 cats, Piggy, Mystic and Tiffany.
