Our Fido Field Trip program encourages trained volunteers to take our adoptable dogs for outings and adventures in the community. So far in 2024, our volunteers went on hundreds of adventures with the many dogs in our care. These outings help the dogs in our care manage kennel stress, burn off energy, and get more exposure in the community! You might have seen our dogs wearing bright orange “Adopt Me” vests this year. This allows them to get noticed and sometimes even adopted! It is also a great way for us to learn more about the dog’s personality outside the shelter environment.
