Sweater weather calls for warm, delicious, homemade soup! The annual Soup Sale supporting the homeless pets of The Heritage Humane Society opens for orders this Mon., Nov. 4, 2024. Also going live is the annual raffles that are drawn at the shelter’s annual Holiday Bazaar being held this year on Nov. 23. This online bonanza includes themed packages and even $500 gift cards. Food for the soul

The shelter’s annual Soup Sale is one of the community’s favorite dining traditions. Delicious soups from 26 of Greater Williamsburg’s most treasured chefs and restaurants go on sale this Mon., Nov. 4, 2024. That day at 12 p.m., this link will go live for the first-come, first-serve Soup Sale 2024.

Each purchase is $25 and includes a quart of cold soup. Soup sales are only available for purchase online. Soups must be picked up at the Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bruton Parish Hall located at 331 W. Duke of Gloucester Street in Downtown Williamsburg. Panera Bread has kindly donated 200 baguettes. Your soup purchase will include one baguette, while supplies last, so make sure to come early!

Online raffle sales from the comfort of home

In addition to the soup sale leading up to the annual Holiday Bazaar, shoppers can begin purchasing tickets for the raffle portion of this festive event. This year’s packaged experiences include:

Additionally, anyone who spends $100 or more on raffle tickets will also be entered into the Golden Ticket drawing.

Winners will be drawn at the Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, with results posted on the HHS Facebook page. Winners will be contacted after the event, and participants do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets can be pre-purchased online starting on Nov. 4 at 12 p.m. or on the day of the Holiday Bazaar, with package values ranging from $500 to $1,500.

Snuggle buddies ready to be adopted

Nearly 250 dogs, cats and small pets are currently in the shelter’s care. Adoptable pets are available to meet during The Heritage Humane Society’s visiting and adopting hours from 12 to 4:30 p.m., Tues. through Sun.
