Last Saturday was our first meeting of our new Animal Aces Kids’ Club. We talked about some learning opportunities they will have, like classes on caring for kittens and reading dog body language. Our new members discussed ways we will make a difference for the animals in our care.
We kicked it off with a project to promote adoption. The kids used their choice of art supplies to create pictures of the adoptable animals currently at HHS. Some chose crayons and colored pencils, while others tried their hand at watercolors. We are in awe at the results!
You can see each of the portraits when you visit our website and go to the animal’s profile.
