Camp Highlights

Led by Kendell Thomas, The Heritage Humane Society’s Humane Education and Activities Manager, the camps promise a fun-filled, memory-making experience. Thomas reflects on last summer’s success, sharing, “I have a framed photo of all of the campers from last summer hanging next to my desk. Every time I look at it I am reminded of the fun we had and the impact we can have on young people in our community. I have been lucky enough to continue to see many of our campers at movie nights, birthday parties and our new Animal Aces Kid’s Club throughout the year.”

With a focus on fostering compassion and responsibility towards animals, campers will participate in a variety of activities including guest speakers, interactive presentations, games and crafts.
Thomas adds, “The kids who attend our camp usually arrive with a love for animals and leave with the desire to continue to help the homeless pets at The Heritage Humane Society. I am looking forward to this year’s camp season and continuing to encourage future animal advocates.”

Animal Aces Kids’ Club

For children eager to continue their animal adventures beyond camp, The Heritage Humane Society offers the Animal Aces Kids’ Club. Members enjoy a range of benefits including discounts on movie nights, birthday parties, camps, and merchandise at the reTAIL store.

Adopt a pet, transform more than just one life
