A Message from Heritage Humane Society’s Executive Director, Kimberly Laska

Dear community members,
I am writing to inform you that the Adoption Center at The Heritage Humane Society will be closed to the public for a few days while we focus on containing an illness that came in with a stray pet. Our job is to contain communicable diseases and keep the rest of the pets in our care safe. We are temporarily limiting traffic through our kennels while our team focuses on this critical priority.
If you would like to spend time with adoptable cats, you can visit the Cat Cove at the Nautical Dog in New Town located at 5012 Main Street, Williamsburg.
Please watch our social media or website for updates. If you have an emergency situation or find a stray animal in our service area, please call us at (757) 221-0150 ext. 0 before you come in. It is critical that we are prepared for your arrival.
We will send an email when we reopen, but we hope it will not be longer than just a few days.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Warm regards,

Kimberly Laska, CAWA
Executive Director
