It’s true, you can’t buy love, however, you can rescue it (and save $50) thanks to The Heritage Humane Society and an anonymous donor. The shelter is helping adopters connect with their perfect dog match for a lifetime of goodness with Spring On In to Adopt. Thanks to the generosity of a hands-on donor wishing to stay anonymous, select dogs and puppies adopted April 7 – 19, 2023, will come with a $50 savings on their adoption fee.
Spring On In to Adopt
The Heritage Humane Society is filled to capacity with all different types of dogs. From various sizes and ages, from laidback buddies to the perfect jogging pal to goofy, fun-loving personalities, there are many possibilities for potential adopters to connect with their perfect pup. Every single one of them is reading to pour on unconditional love.
The Spring On In to Adopt promotion is April 7 – 19 excluding Mondays and Easter Sunday, April 9, when the Adoption Center is closed for pet viewing appointments and adoptions. Potential adopters are welcome Tuesdays – Sundays from 12 – 4:30 p.m.
The promotion is for dogs who are identified as available to go home the same day with a few exceptions. Some available dogs on the shelter’s website are in queue to be spayed or neutered, a requirement before they can be officially adopted. People can still come and meet the dogs and put in applications in the interim.
With the $50 savings, discounted prices are:
-
Puppies (10 months and younger) – $175
-
Adult Dogs <30 lbs – $150
-
Adult Dogs >31 lbs – $125
-
Senior dogs (9 years and older) – $100
The Heritage Humane Society is so grateful for the $50 per adopted dog donation made possible by a community member who wishes to remain anonymous. She shared that, “in routinely coming to the shelter and lately seeing so many more dogs there than usual, I wanted to be a part of the solution by covering $50 of the adoption costs for applicable dogs. Most importantly, their forever homes are somewhere in our community and I want to make it easier for the dogs and their forever families to connect.”
Bring home unconditional love
